Strategy and organisation

Our strategy is proving its validity – it is precisely in such a demanding environment that our diversified, stability-focused business model demonstrates its strengths. Our active capital and risk management supports the LLB Group's growth. In 2009, we shall continue determinedly to realise our three-pillar strategy.

A universal bank with a strong wealth management business

Our business is broadly diversified.

As a corporate Group, we offer our clients comprehensive services, these include private banking, asset management, as well as fund services and trust services. We are the leading universal bank in the Principality of Liechtenstein, and are one of the most significant asset management institutes in Switzerland. In addition, we are represented in the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi and Dubai), on the Cayman Islands and in Hong Kong.

In the year under report, we earned the largest part of our total revenues, namely 55.8 percent, from fee and commission business; 50.5 percent was attributable to interest income and 7.6 percent to trading income.
